Hotel Augustus is a wonderful hotel that combines a location that is in the center of the historic center of Biella (you walk into the hotel parking area from Via Italia) with incredible friendly service and a breakfast that most restaurants would have trouble competing with! I rarely partake in breakfasts that are included as they are generally not as good as a restaurant, but here, it is the opposite. The cornetti, made in house, are the best I have had anywhere in Italy - they were truly sublime. The fruit salad, the cured meats, the cheeses, breads etc are freshly prepared. The breakfast alone is worth coming here.

The room I had was tastefully decorated and of perfect proportions where I had space to move and enjoy my surroundings while still feeling very cozy. The room was extremely quiet and the air conditioning system was perfect - never too hot or hold during my stay (which is usually a challenge).

This was my fist visit to Hotel Augustus, but it will not be my last! I look forward to returning and being made to feel very welcome by the very friendly staff and owners.

The first impression is of a hotel in a modern undistinguished building up a back street in an estate far from the centre. The first surprise comes when you go in the door. The public areas and rooms are spacious well appointed and stylish. A bigger surprise however is that when you cross the courtyard in front of the hotel, go down a flight of stairs and through a gate, just as in the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, you find yourself in a different world. In this case that world is the middle of the busy attractive historic centre of Biella. This hotel really is in the centre. It has private parking . Breakfast is excellent. The staff are cheerful and friendly. And did I mention it is very good value?

This hotel was awesome! SO convenient to getting around the city. The owners and staff are super nice, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and couldn’t have been happier with the stay. A perfect spot to relax, have a good shower, and get back out to the day.

Room very clean, comfortable and hospitable. We have been to Biella 4 times i the last 2 years and we always stay at Augustus Hotel. There is free parking, you are right in the heart of shopping, bars and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great too. I had to work from the hotel and the WIFI was good, no issues. We were waiting for work to be completed on our house that was delayed so we had to go back to the hotel at the last minute...very accommodating. We recommend it to everyone especially business professionals.

Absolutely loved staying at the hotel Augustus! Super central, in the old town area, next to all the restaurants and shops. Loved how clean it is, rooms are spacious and modern. There’s jasmine growing outside and every time you approach the hotel, the smell is just unreal. I would stay there again and again. Thank you🙏🏻

This family-owned hotel is run with care, serving a very good breakfast buffet. Rooms and beds are comfortable, there is ample free parking and the location in the center of Biella cannot be beat. The front desk was helpful in scheduling covid tests for us before departing Italy.
